My mother and I only met Malony a couple of times but found that she had a very radiant and outgoing personality. My mother feels that she was a very confident and determined woman. I personally remember how encouraging she was of me and Surabhi dancing; she would always attend our performances and help us get dressed up as well as provide positive feedback and allow us to practice in the house. She was very graceful and incredibly skilled. She is definitely very missed, indeed.

My Deepest thoughts go to Praveen, Surbhi and Saurabh, i met Malony years ago for a short period of time. A time when Praveen was starting and setting up worldwide relocation services, Malony was very supportive and positive and with her strong mind she kept on thinking positive, being determined she made things work. Myself, only 18 yrs of age at the time,i looked upto Malony;she inspired my life and also making me believe that dreams can come true, the moments i met her knew her as a happy, positive and jolly person.,i will always remember her smiling, there was never a day where i saw her without a smile, her thoughts are with us all here and she will be missed deeply, love always Kuljit and Jaspal from London England, hope to see you all soon, lookafter eachother and we always here for you, from the bottom of our hearts. xx

I only met Malony a handful of times, but I had the pleasure of going to school with her daughter Surabhi. The times that I met Malony, she was always kind and generous and eager to help. At one of Surabhi's birthday sleepover parties, I hurt my shoulder in a game and she was as good if not better than my own mother at comforting me!! I have seen this strength and caring in Surabhi, and look forward to see what she will do to foloow in her mothers' footsteps. My thoughts are with the family, and I wish them the best this weekend at the Picnic; unfortunately I will not be able to make it.

Although I only met Malony a few times and did not know her well, her strong spirit and determination came across very clearly, and these same qualities are evident also in the work of the Foundation. It seems to me this Foundation is a very wise and well-thought out way to ensure Malony's influence continues.

On a Tuesday morning, Monday being a public holiday in the Principality of Liechtenstein, having logged on to my workstation in the office, appeared a shocking news from Canada announcing our beloved Malony-ji’s heavenly farewell away from all of us. Myself and my wife Cornelia was deeply touched by hearing this sad news and we really didn‘t realize under shock how soon a precious life could be lost this way! We were so down and withdrawn during the whole day and my thoughts and prayers were all of a sudden on the immediate family; Praveen-ji, Surabhi and Saurabh-Rashmi; the newly wedded couple, wishing them whole-heartedly the strength to overcome this unprecedented and unforgettable loss. It is amazing that we had the great honour to meet Malony-ji in person during Saurabh-Rashmi’s wedding in Jaipur after many many years. Again we had the great previlege to see her and the whole family in Zürich, and spent an unforgettable evening at Bar-au-lac; thanks to Praveen-ji to make it happen for both of us. We were not aware of the fact that she was suffering from the illness till the day,19th of November 2006 and when called Burnaby in January 2007, she was under medication and we decided not to disturb her. While writing these memories, my heart is full of sorrow and at times overwhelms with many positive memories as Maloni-ji was known to me for many years especially in the 80‘s. While I was working under Praveen-ji in Switzerland, I have stayed with this noble and generous family and had great memories on witnessing her motherly affection to Saurabh who was a lovely baby at that time. During this time, I also had my luck in finding my life long partner Cornelia and later building up a successful Swiss banking career under the guidance of Maloni-ji and Praveen-ji for which I shall always remain thankful and unforgotten. Dear Praveen-ji and rest of the family in Canada and India. Our prayers will always be with you. The life must go on for all of us and the precious lives of our loved ones are not within our commands! Today the 30th of April was a beautiful Sunday sunny afternoon in Switzerland. When we have gone for a walk, myself and Cornelia did share our memories on Malony-ji and appreciated and felt proud on what she has acomplished as a human being. Her mother and the rest of the family members in India must be proud of her! Who knows, let Malony-jis heavenly journey ends in a place where she is guided and taken care by her father-our beloved Saxena-ji, whom I personally admired for his style and elegance. Maloni-ji and Saxena-ji, we love you! With lots of love Cornelia and Nair, Switzerland

Being her cousin, I had the opportunity to meet her often till the time she was in India, and during last 24 to 25 years, after she got married, probably I would have met her five to six times on special occassions. I have memories from the time I was 10, and she was about 15. The remarkable thing about her is that I have never ever seen her complaining, or criticizing any one. And to see some one like this during entire life time is not an ordinary thing. During Saurabh's wedding, she was glowing and in such control of the proceedings that I assumed that her illness was a thing of past. My mother had to go through Chemeo and so I know what it does to people. I hope this foundation will be successful in promoting the spirit of living with courage and grace under all circumstances.

I looked upon Malony as a sister and the feeling was reciprocal. She bore her illness with great courage and a smiling countenance, so many who came in contact with her were unaware of the suffering she was going thru. She appeared to most people as an ordinary woman, yet she was one who lived an extraordinary life! She lived her to the fullest possible extent and more importantly she lived it her way and on her terms! She reminded me often of Durgaji! In the words of Sogyal Rimpoche..."when we finally know we are dying, and all other sentient beings are dying with us, we start to have a burning, almost heartbreaking sense of the fragility and preciousness of each moment and each being, and from this can grow a deep, clear, limitless compassion for all beings." It is from this space of limitless compassion that Praveen and family wish to further the work they have set out to do with this foundation. May they be blest! Russell Monsurate

happy memories from the past about my sister, malony, creep in silently and quietly, as the eyes become clouded.the mind has to remind the heart all over again and again about the reality.but the heart stubbornly persists in believing that she is around and watching as usual.thinking of the things we did together, like sharing dresses when we were in college: a dress that she would wear long and i would wear short, she has been taller by half an inch.i would be ever tucking it small and she would open it and wear.or when my school result was announced in the newspaper. she saw my name and came running home to tell the whole family as though it was her own success.many such things now bring a smile across my face.wish I had only a quarter of her courage!
